White Toilet Seat

So, getting ready to remodel the bathroom, and trying to decide on something both low maintenance and practical? Go white. A white toilet seat is the basic toilet seat of choice.

I would estimate that most people have white toilet seats in their homes. A white toilet seat is practical (just like you…), isn’t flashy, is easy to keep clean, and is a color that will last.  The white seat can be a heated toilet seat.

However, just because a toilet seat is white doesn’t mean it has to be cheap. Some of the most expensive toilet seats you will EVER see are white. And yet, I can basically guarantee that the CHEAPEST toilet seat you have ever seen was white as well!  This can come in the plastic toilet seat or a soft toilet seat.

White is an extremely easy color to keep clean. Dust doesn’t show very much on a white toilet seat, kind of like dust doesn’t show very well on a white car.  Also, it will match the rest of the toilet (if you have a white toilet) which will make it look uniform, solid, and altogether more clean.

You can get a white toilet seat in probably about any style you might want. Do you want a soft toilet seat? Or, do you prefer the undeniable style of a hard toilet seat? Do you want your toilet seat to be round? Or, do you want to accentuate your professionalism by choosing an elongated style? Remember to take a look at the rest of the bathroom. How would an elongated toilet seat go with the counter? Or, with the cabinets? The geometric shapes that you find in your bathroom should help you decide on the right style of toilet seat, and you should definitely take your own personal needs and comfort into account as well.

Do you want a design on your new white toilet seat? Many times you can get a cute design on your seat, things like ducks, flowers, and/or fish are very popular themes for the bathroom, and can easily be found on toilet seats at your local building supply store.  Remember, your new white toilet seat needs to fit your bathroom’s style, your personal comfort needs, and your budget.  Luckily, this will not be hard, as you already have a basic idea of what you want.  Just remember that name brands like KOHLER will last longer than generic brands, especially when going with a soft model toilet seat. Good luck, and have fun shopping!
